GOAT FUND ME
Donate to “Holy Goats: Your Fire Prevention Angels” for brush abatement helping to protect homes and lives from devastating wildfire in Mendocino County.

The Challenge: It is now 2019 and changing weather patterns and new micro-climates caused by global warming, leave Mendocino County at extreme risk for major conflagrations.
The 2018 Mendocino Complex Fire exposed our vulnerability, as it was the largest complex fire in California State history burning 459,000 acres. Once again, the intensity of this fire was exacerbated by an overabundance of dense dry fuels.
OPPORTUNITY: “Holy Goats” is a project fiscally sponsored by Conception Coast Project- (a 501(C)3, EIN: 77-0486094)– committed to protecting and restoring the natural heritage and community resilience of our regions through science, planning and community involvement. By creating a managed goat herd, “Holy Goats” would help ensure fire breaks to eliminate dense dry fuels which could threaten property and individual lives. By reducing such propellants, we can enhance forest health and decrease threats to lives and property.
Help us raise $13,500 to initiate this project.
